Database Assistant

	Accounts Receivable
	The Markosoft Accounts Receivable application has everything you need for maintaining all of your accounts for retail sales of merchandise purchased on time. Log and track all transactions, assess late fees, create past due notices, and print out a variety of reports including client address labels and status reports with this all encompassing and versatile package. Special features such as the ability to amortize payments and automatically assess sales taxes are included in the base package. A full accounting ledger is available for logging transactions and applicable late fees can be automatically calculated and assessed by means of some of the Accounts Receivables built in features. Late notices can be printed using the included default notices or custom notices can be produced by the user with templates created via Microsoft Word. By using special keywords explained in the help files, these custom notices can be altered to meet all of the specific needs of your business. If your business does repair or service work, the Work Orders portion of the program can be used to track the progress of work in process. The Work Orders component includes the ability to generate work orders and invoices as well as providing a means of tracking parts inventories via a perpetual inventory system. 	Test Creator
	It has never been easier to be a teacher and create and grade tests as it is now with Markosoft's Test Creator and Test Taker applications. With the Test Creator, you can effortlessly build tests that include multiple choice, true/false, short answer, and essay questions and the tests can either be printed out in paper format or fully automated and administered using the Test Taker application. To enjoy fully computerized test administration and grading, first create a class and add all of your students to the class. Then, create some tests and add the tests to the class. Finally, your students can use the Test Taker application and log into the class using the user name and password that you set up for them. Once logged into the Test Taker, students can take any test in their list of tests that they have not already completed. Each test can be automatically graded and all of the scores may be tallied into the electronic grade book for you in real time. Students can review and print out any test that has been completed so that they may see which of their answers were marked correct and incorrect. The teacher retains all control over the grade book and may either alter grades or the status of tests in order to facilitate a test retake if necessary. If you prefer a more traditional approach to testing and grading tests, the Test Creator may also be used to design and build analog tests that can be printed out on paper and administered in a more conventional manner. 	Test Prep
	Achieving a degree of any kind can be an arduous task, and preparing for the numerous tests that occur along the way is one of the unpleasantries of higher education. Markosoft's Test Prep application was designed by one of our in-house consultants to make studying for a test a walk in the park. The program's layout resembles a matching test where each answer matches exactly one question in the list. The straightforward interface of the Test Prep program is one of the things that makes it so powerful. Simply, save some test questions along with their associated answers into a file, load the file, and then begin testing yourself. You can repeatedly quiz yourself on the test questions until all of the answers are engrained into your memory. The program also contains several special features. The Randomize function allows you to reorder the questions arbitrarily so that the order of the questions becomes meaningless. The Reverse function presents you with answers and allows you to select the associated questions. Right-clicking on a drop down list brings up a screen containing all of the remaining answers, which is equivilent to viewing the answers that have not been scratched off . If you want to know an answer while you are testing, you can press the F1 key to bring up the answer to the currently highlighted question. And, once all of the questions have been answered, the Grade function can be used to view your score and display the correct answers to all of the questions that were answered incorrectly.
